About Techcir

Techcir is an independent price-watching site for consumer technology. We track what electronics actually cost on AliExpress, rank competing listings on measurable data, and link you to the seller. We never handle your order.

What we do

Every listing on this site is pulled from the AliExpress affiliate catalogue through their official API. For each product we record the current price, the crossed-out list price, the discount, the aggregate buyer satisfaction rate and the number of orders placed. Those figures refresh automatically, roughly once an hour.

We then do the part a catalogue does not do for you: we group listings that sell the same kind of product, identify the brand behind each one, and rank them from best to worst.

How the ranking works

Each product receives a score out of 100. Buyer satisfaction accounts for 45%, order volume for 25%, the price relative to the median of the compared group for 20%, and the live discount for 10%. The formula is the same for every product, and no seller can pay to move up it.

The strengths and weaknesses listed on a product page are generated from those same numbers, never from opinion. When a figure is missing — no published satisfaction rate, no order history — we say so rather than fill the gap.

What we do not do

We hold no stock, take no payment, ship nothing and handle no returns. Every purchase happens on AliExpress, under AliExpress terms, with AliExpress buyer protection. We do not publish invented reviews: the affiliate API exposes an aggregate satisfaction rate but not the text of individual reviews, so no review text appears on this site.

A word of caution

Prices move. A listing can sell out or change price between the moment we cache it and the moment you open it. Treat the figures here as a well-informed signal, and check the final price on the seller's page before you buy.
